SmithMartin supports literacy development and knowledge dissemination. We use our web presence to sell books and other products that further these aims.

Our retail book and literacy arm, www.dolphinbooksellers.co.uk – provides a source of information and access to children's books, author events and book sales from Amazon.co.uk
Our resources trading style, Dolphinbookbox.co.uk offers clients books, print, design and other items to support their projects.
Our ICT web and email service, www.thirdsectorweb.co.uk - provides web design, construction, hosting and secure webmail.
Consultancy
SmithMartin is a member of Ethical Junction - we work with low carbon foot print, environmental preservation and energy efficiency always woven into operational delivery. Our business practices, pro-bono contributions and wish to share our knowledge evidence, partners believe, our commitment to sustainable development.
These terms apply to the sale of goods, including books, from our web pages. Contracts between clients and SmithMartin for professional management consultancy services are subject to individual specification by negotiation with clients on a 'by project' basis.
SmithMartin seeks to comply with all pre-tender qualifications, tender constraints and contract delivery specifications in its delivery of professional services.
SmithMartin Partners carry current full professional indemnity insurance at all times.
Web Services

Thirdsectorweb provides always on web provison and webmail service to clients. Thirdsector provide full maintenance and service query support through it's web site, FAQ pages and telephone support frameworks. Partners oversee all stages of design, production and hosting of web pages and communication services.
Our systems enable us to respond quickly to any faults and service update needs. We actively encourage a permanent and ongoing dialogue with clients.
Book Sales

The term Dolphin Booksellers used on this page refers to any Dolphin Booksellers, Dolphin Bookbox, Thirdsector or SmithMartin Partnership owned website where books or other goods are offered for sale, including www.dolphinbooksellers.co.uk
Validity
These terms of trade govern the sale and supply of goods by Dolphin Booksellers to you. Dolphin Booksellers may amend these terms of trade at any time. Users will be notified of any amendments by a notice on the Dolphin Bookseller or other relevant websites.
Dolphin Booksellers Contract With You
No contract shall exist between you and Dolphin Booksellers until Dolphin Booksellers has sent you an email confirming the receipt and acceptance of your order. Dolphin Booksellers is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods or the order appearing on Dolphin Booksellers' site or for unavailability of goods ordered (see below). By placing an order for products with age restrictions you declare that you are of legal age to purchase those products. Dolphin Booksellers reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any goods ordered.
Pricing and Availability
The prices and availability of the goods are specified on the Dolphin Booksellers or other relevant SmithMartin site.
Retail sales of individual copies are factored through Amazon.co.uk in Great Britain – sales achieved through this means are subject to Amazon.co.uk terms and conditions and refund policies. See www.dolphinbooksellers.co.uk for details.
We deal directly with community groups, schools and childcare settings for bulk or large themed orders through our Dolphinbookbox trading style. The prices, availablility and despatch details are available on the promotional material prevailing at the time of the order.
This information is subject to change without notice. Each price, as displayed and including discount, is inclusive of VAT (at the current standard UK rate). There shall be an additional charge for delivery, the amount of which shall vary according to the cost incurred by Dolphin Booksellers for the goods ordered at standard UK postal rates. Customers wishing to use express delivery will incur higher delivery charges.
This amount will be confirmed prior to goods being dispached and varies depending on the weight and size of books ordered. In the unlikely event that the goods are unavailable, or that Dolphin Booksellers needs to vary the price due to increases in price by publishers, suppliers or distributors, tax changes or site errors for example, following confirmation of your order, Dolphin Booksellers shall send you a notification by email and allow you the opportunity to cancel your order should you wish.
Delivery of Goods
Dolphin Booksellers shall deliver the goods ordered to the delivery address which you supply. All delivery times are approximate, although we always do our best top comply with customer wishes. In the case of items going out of stock or out of print you shall be notified and given the opportunity to cancel books in your order or leave them on order in the event that they come back into stock or into print.
Payment for books on our retail site, using Amazon.co.uk services, is by all featured credit and debit cards featured at the time of order. Your transaction is entirley private and we do not see or keep any details from the process. Bulk orders, goods and services for our direct supply customers is currently by purchase order and invoice only and an invoice will be despatched with the order to registered schools, children centres, community groups or community businesses, or before the order is dispatched to non registered users who must pay the amount in full before the goods will be dispatched. Risk will pass to you on delivery of goods
Dolphin Booksellers Guarantee and Returns Policy
Retail purchases from our Dolphinbooksellers site is subject ot Amazon returns process and policy.
If for any reason, as a directly supplied organisation or group, you are unhappy with any or all of the goods received, you can return any of them to Dolphin Booksellers for an exchange or refund, providing each is returned to Dolphin Booksellers' within 7 working days from the day after you receive the goods. You shall be responsible for the cost of returning goods for refund or exchange, except in cases of faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods. Returned goods must be unused and in the condition they were supplied including the original packaging where applicable.

Dolphin Booksellers recommends that you use registered post or recorded delivery when returning goods. Dolphin Booksellers shall use reasonable efforts to replace damaged or defective goods but if replacement is not possible, or if an order is cancelled for any other reason under these Terms, Dolphin Booksellers' only obligation is to refund the full amount paid by you.This does not affect your statutory rights.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Contracts between you and Dolphin Booksellers as a result of this site shall be governed in all respects by English Law and all disputes shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
Invalidity of Terms and Conditions
If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.
