Jim Simpson - Just arrived...
We are delighted to
welcome Jim Simpson to the Partnership.
Jim is graphic designer and brand creation expert, with long
experience of both a domestic and international client base. Whether
overseeing the creative management of design materials for a utilities
authority in Abu Dhabi, a hotel complex in the Middle East, an English
Local Authority or a dynamic rural charity - Jim brings a knowledge of
design and brand principles that will enhance and compliment the work
of our clients.
Jim's portfolio describes his work as a graphic designer as...'having extensive experience of
delivering creative solutions to small, regional and global brands in
the form of design for print, contract publishing and brand creation'.
We know that Jim shows excellent internal and external communication
skills, with both partners and clients, and that he has the ability to
organise and handle complex briefs from start to finish.
Whether from our Cambridge office or in the heart of the City of
London, Jim is confident that his design skills can be useful and
effective for Partnership clients, old and new. We are delighted that
Jim has agreed to work wth our client portfolio with immediate effect.

Sue's
career profile has been
formed from an extensive
background in education and management, leading into
development of childcare and children's services in diverse
and disadvantaged communities.
A
passion for encouraging

develop a vitality and enthusiasm to sustain interest and
effect long term future success. Visionary ideas, coupled
with a pragmatic understanding have helped to turn concepts
into successful realities and created opportunities in which
children can shine.

an understanding of working
within a Local Authority
structure, services such as Extended Schools and Children's
Centres can be delivered within time scales.

with children and
young people of all ages is
best placed to enable effective and sustainable practice. It
empowers stakeholders, gives a voice to even the youngest of
children and brings a dynamism to the project.

Tasha Smith

The Partnership are delighted to
announce that Tasha has joined us in a web development role. Tasha
offers partnership clients expert knowledge in Java, Javascript, C,
C++, HTML, CSS, and PHP. As our web business continues to expand, with
Tasha's arrival so does our ability to integrate even more web
facilities and solutions into the range of services that we can offer
both exisiting and new clients.
Tasha has a background in the development of commercial back-office
systems in the retail banking industry. Tasha has said that she is
'...happy to use my expertise in the partnership sectors around schools
and education, children centres and a range of community businesses'.
Tasha is
hoping that her experince within the Partnership will help her
in her professional development ambition to undertake post-grad
learning in Computing Science, by broadening her knowledge of
applications in both web applications and system development.
Sue Martin of
the Partnership said '...we
are really pleased to announce our new systems development function,
which is an important part of the future service delivery we can offer
to clients.Tasha is currently working on a number of
projects, particularly focusing over the summer on the
development of bespoke in-house shared workspaces and secure staff zone
applications for a number of clients'.

Tim
has a
background in commercial general management in the
private sector, with many years experience of both
organisational and trading development in the charitable and
voluntary sectors. Co-ordinating a range of partnership resources -
whether working with specialist associates, formulating complex bids or
delivering web services to support and market projects.
Currently a proud member of a regional MicroCoach team -
Tim supports
individuals and boards of management through the establishment, growth
and change of community business and social enterprise. Using the GROW
methodology, developed at Anglia Ruskin University, to help both
organisation and individual reflect and change.
Specialising
in governance issues, community business and social enterprise
development and funding, Tim
also has wide experience of providing technical support to projects
bidding for EU funds - ESF, ERDF etc., as well as providing a lead to
the partnership on web technology and application.
Tim
is also responsible for the partnership technical infrastructure -
utilising voice over internet, collaborative shared workspaces and a
variety of web applications - our partnership deploys the technology
that it can bring to clients through our web design, web hosting and
email service arm, Thirdsectorweb.
As a Partnership we aim to bring
a range of knowledge and skills to the divide between the
public and prvate sectors. Profits
and
surpluses need to be made in order to protect the
sustainability of the organisation. The pursuit of these goals
does not mean that the high values of trust, care - for both
team members and customers - and the principles of best
practice need to be forgotten.
